The Observers Design

Design Goals and Features | (top)

Conventional variable-width, no-tables, three-column layout with usability and dynamic templating (PHP...) in mind. It may be used for blogs, but may also be suitable for other needs. Contrary to current trends, neither does it feature rounded box corners, nor does it use blue as its main color. Hope you like it anyway! Design goals:

The design includes a special stylesheet used for printing (effect visible in print preview), thus no extra "printer-friendly" link is necessary.

Some design elements are taken from my Multivariate design, others are inspired by Andreas01 and Softened Cells. The image is taken from stock.xchng (no usage restrictions). The approach to three-column CSS is the one from Layout Reservoir. Kudos to all of them!
